    MEDIA RELEASE

    E30 Racing 2019 BMW Driver’s Cup

    International Sponsorship Secured

     17 January 2019

    For immediate release

E30 Racing Inc. is very excited to announce renewal of principal naming rights Sponsor, Garagistic LLC, for the full 2019 season.

In 2018, Garagistic came on board to support Rounds 4 and 5 of the BMW Driver’s Cup Championship, encompassing the August Access round at Phillip Island, and the Garagistic Enduro Cup at Winton Raceway.

The 2019 Garagistic BMW Driver’s Cup represents a strengthening of this fantastic partnership, with all competing cars displaying prominent Garagistic signage at all racing rounds across Victoria and at the new Tailem Bend facility in South Australia, as well as at our Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix display at Albert Park in March.

California-based Garagistic LLC (garagistic.com) is a leading manufacturer of performance parts, with a particular focus on BMW and E30s, making it the perfect partner for our series.

In addition, Yokohama Tyres will continue its long-standing support of E30 Racing as the official control tyre supplier for the category through its principal Victorian dealership, Traction Tyres & Suspension Centre (tractiontyres.com.au).

E30 Racing President, Donovan Mollenhagen, is delighted to have international backing for the series:

“We're excited by the news that Garagistic has decided to renew and expand their connection with E30 Racing through a new series title sponsorship agreement for the 2019 BMW Drivers Cup racing season. It was a pleasure last year to be involved with such an exciting and energetic team of people who are as proud and dedicated to the E30 platform as we here at E30 Racing are. It is unsurprising that even the origins of their name itself so closely aligns to our grassroots racing club and how many of our members build and prepare their cars in their own garages or small enthusiast workshops. It is certainly our hope that this can be the beginning of long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

Defending BMW Driver’s Cup champion, Chris Bell, who is looking forward to seeing Garagistic’s name adorning car #1, adds:

“The support of Garagistic last year was sensational and to have them back on board for the full season is pretty cool. They have heaps of awesome products for the BMW world to enjoy!”

2018 Rookie Champion, Jesse Bryan, is also looking forward to having Garagistic on board:

“I’m very pleased to hear the announcement of Garagistic signing another year with E30 Racing’s BMW Driver’s Cup as the major sponsor. I think it’s wonderful for the category to have their backing, being an international company - giving us as drivers international exposure, as well as access to such great products. I would like to personally thank them for the support.”

With a highly successful season in 2018 which saw several new entrants join the category, and with several more new drivers and old returning competitors already signed up for the series in 2019, E30 Racing is very excited for the year ahead. Further details of the 2019 Garagistic BMW Driver’s Cup calendar will be released soon.
